1) What makes PHAEVERS bags smell-proof?
Our bags use multi-layer activated carbon lining that traps and neutralizes odor molecules (instead of just masking them). Seams and zippers are designed to support odor control while keeping the exterior sleek.
2) Are PHAEVERS bags 100% airtight or dog-proof?
No bag is truly “airtight” or “dog-proof.” PHAEVERS is engineered for discretion and odor control—not evasion. For best results, avoid overfilling and keep zippers fully closed.
3) How long does the carbon lining last?
With normal use, the lining remains effective for roughly 6–24 months, depending on exposure. You can help extend performance by occasionally airing the bag out in a dry, ventilated space.
4) Can I wash my PHAEVERS bag?
Do not machine wash. Spot-clean the exterior with mild soap and warm water, then let it air dry completely. Soaking or machine washing can damage the carbon layer and reduce effectiveness.
5) Can I use my bag for food, gym gear, or travel items?
Absolutely. PHAEVERS bags work great for meals, gym clothes, toiletries, tech gear—anything with strong odors—while looking refined enough for daily carry and travel.
6) Why does my bag smell after long use?
Odor molecules can build up over time. Wipe the interior, avoid storing damp items, and air it out to refresh the lining.
7) What’s the difference between smell-proof and waterproof?
They’re different technologies. Our focus is odor control. Many bags are water-repellent for daily life, but they’re not designed for submersion.
8) How do I reactivate the carbon lining?
Open the bag and leave it in sunlight or a warm, dry room for 24–48 hours. Heat helps release trapped particles so the carbon can absorb effectively again.
9) Is the lock on my bag TSA-approved?
PHAEVERS locks are for personal privacy, not TSA inspection. During air travel, TSA may open your bag if necessary.
10) My bag seems to be leaking smell—is it defective?
The most common cause is odor transfer on the outside (from hands or surfaces), not internal leakage. Wipe the exterior, fully re-seal zippers, and air the bag before reuse.
11) Are smell-proof bags legal?

12) Do I need to replace my bag once the smell returns?
Not necessarily. Try cleaning and reactivating the lining first. After extended, heavy use, performance may diminish—at that point, consider a refresh.
